Filming my first 'performative' scene

 

For this blog, I had planned to film my sister (Ava) for a performative documentary. In the pictures above were just some idea shots I had come up with, like her bed and the overhead shot of her doing some makeup to get the message across for a teenage girl. I was thinking of doing some voiceover work and taking parts of her interview apart and including it over her waking up and doing makeup when she is introducing herself. For the video I have included, I wanted to have a vary of shot - I have done a POV shot to make the audience feel as though they are also watching Ava's TikTok feed.
