Film posters and analysis
- The main thing we notice about all these posters are the similarities of the colour palette and the main use of an object or some sort of supernatural human in distress.
- The colour palette is black, red, some green and white.
- Red can connotes blood and gore and black can suggest darkness and the unknown, whereas white could indicate heaven after being killed or maybe the light at the end of the tunnel hinting the victim survives.
- Most of the posters use a sense of lowkey lighting and an eerie atmosphere to draw the target audience of 15-25 year olds in to watching as they know they will be scared and get a thrill and a promised reaction out of purchasing and watching the specific movie.
